On the Maryland General Assembly (MGA) website, select "Witness Signup" for the Health committee, and upload your testimony in PDF format. Be sure to include your name, location, bill number HB0027, and that you "support" the bill. Sign-up for House bills usually opens 2 business days before the hearing, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.

I’d like to extend my deepest gratitude to Delegate Greg Wims and his office in Maryland District 39. He has sponsored the Maryland TEDCO Long COVID innovation Grant and Loan Program bill, HB0027. This bill will support companies in Maryland that develop diagnostics treatments and cures for Long Covid.
To all of you who are out there who are suffering from Long Covid, or to those of you who have been affected by the cuts at NIH and are looking for a new way to apply your knowledge, this bill is for you.
I’ve been heartbroken over the years seeing the devastation that this illness brings to lives.

Please submit written testimonies even if you are not a resident of Maryland. What we do here in Maryland can support people with Long Covid throughout the world. The window to submit testimony opens on Friday February 6. It closes the day of the hearing, Tuesday, February 10, 2026. Instructions for parking in Annapolis are included in the link above.
